OAR with Howie Day at Wolf Trap National Park
Of a Revolution, better known as OAR, packed the house on tuesday at the Filene Center. Wolf Trap National Park's concert venue was sold out, including the lawn. Special guest performance by Howie Day preceeded OAR with the Graham Colton Band opening things up. Wolf Trap offers a unique concert experience in the woods, with the convienience of easy access from the Beltway and Route 7.

The 55th Presidential Inauguration
The World watched President George W. Bush second inaugural address President Bush committing the United States to defeating tyranny and expanding freedom. Sworn in by ailing Chief Justice William Rehnquist, the president delivered a 22-minute address that outlined his view of America's role in the world.

Former Vice President Al Gore stopped by Olsson's bookstore at Penn Quarter to sign copies of his new book, 'An Inconvient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It.' This book is a tie in to the documentary film of the same name, 'An Inconvient Truth,' is Gore's battle cry about what needs to be done about global warming. Near the end of the line stood political activist, Ralph Nader, waiting to patch things up with his old presidential opponent.

On Friday, December 17, 2004, at the Andrew W. Mellon auditorium President Bush signed legislation that reforms the intelligence community and the intelligence and intelligence-related activities of the United States Government. The many reforms in this act have a single goal: to ensure that the people in government responsible for defending America have the best possible information to make the best possible decisions.
International Child Art Festival 2003
Every four years ICAF launches an Arts Olympiad for children that begins with a global art competition and culminates in the world's premier international celebration.
The Festival is a "live arts and cultural experience" for thousands of participants.
Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox
On September 8, 2003, the Baltimore Orioles hosted the Boston Red Sox in the first game of a three game series. The Birds took the field at Camden Yards to continue their winning streak by beating the Boston Red Sox 13-10. Special thanks to Chris Hulton and Orioles TV for an entertaining and motivating game.
10th Annual Van's Warped Tour at Nissan Pavillion
The 10th annual Van's Warped Tour has come back to Nissan Pavilion. This all day concert event offers 8 stages of punk-rock bands rockin' the house to their fans. The tour offers up-and-coming artists the opportunity to tour together. Each year, the tour has increased in bands signing on to spend the summer on the road but also fans, showing the increased interest in Emo and Punk music.
FBR Capital Open Golf Tournament
Having to finish the open on monday due to a rained out saturday, Rory Sabbatini shot a 68 to finish with a 14-under-par 270 on a par-71 Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Avenel in Potomac, Maryland. The Avenel is considered one of the best courses in the TPC. No matter where your seat is, you have a clear to view of every shot.
