Thousands of cheering, screaming Washington DC citizens streamed into the streets last night to celebrate D-Senator Barack Obama’s victory over R-Senator John McCain. DC residents and college students from George Washington University, Howard University, and Georgetown paraded down Pennsylvania Avenue and congregated in front of the White House. They chanted and celebrated well into the night.
