Entrance to the Mexico festivities

What town is this?

Wow! I looks like the border is wide open here. All you have to do is run over the yellow line to emigrate!

Pro-Choice signs - I LOVE CONDOMS - I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE HERE - THIS IS WHAT A FEMINIST LOOKS LIKE.The Capitol building is in the background.

Young and pathetically brainwashed.

In 1911, the Hope diamond was sold to Mrs. Evalyn Walsh McLean of Washington, D.C., after it was mounted on a headpiece and surrounded by three tiers of white diamonds. Sometime later, Mrs. McLean had it reset as a pendant.

US Capitol - Declaration of Independence

I think the ornament below is the perfect way to celebrate Christmas (birth of Christ) and at the same time remember our Independence Day: July 4th (birth of The United States).

Peering into the food court in DC's Union Station

DC Union Station food court

"over a hundred" ? That's a bit of a stretch. The food court downstairs used to be known for its variety and its non-mainstream choices, but the management company is now encouraging the independents to leave, replacing them with deep-pockets chains. They threw out a wingmaster, a soup place, and an Italian bakery, and replaced them with Subway, Taco Bell, and Bojangles. It's pathetic and quite sad; that place is soon going to look like every other mall in America.
