Gardiner Greene Hubbard became its first president and his son-in-law, Alexander Graham Bell, eventually succeeded him in 1897 following his death. In 1899 Bell's son-in-law Gilbert Hovey Grosvenor was named the first full-time editor of National Geographic Magazine and served the organization for fifty-five years (1954), and members of the Grosvenor family have played important roles in the organization since. The current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of National Geographic is Gilbert Melville Grosvenor

Planned Anti-Parenthood

The Abortion Pill takes up to 8 weeks . Prescription Mifepristone is taken in pill form at the clinic. It causes termination of the pregnancy, and the development of the unborn fetus. Then 24-72 hours later, the woman uses Misoprostol to cause her uterus to contract and expel the tissue from the now failed pregnancy. A follow-up appointment is required to make sure the abortion is complete. Occasionally more than one follow-up appointment is necessary.
