Happy Easter
God, who for our redemption gave your only begotten Son to death on the Cross, and by his glorious resurrection has delivered us from the power of our enemy: Grant that we who celebrate with joy the day of our Lord’s resurrection, may be raised from the death of sin by your life-giving Spirit. Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his resurrection, empowered and transformed by your grace in and among us. Tunnel....Growing up in Kenwood, we called it a tunnel of blossoms not a canopy. Canopy would have been any other type of tree. Our cherries made a glorious tunnel...lol. Posted by Jessi (guest) on Fri 02 Apr 2010 05:37:18 PM UTC

Kenwood...I grew up in Kenwood. My favorite time of day was after the tourist left in the evening. It was magical. Seeing the blossoms fall by either moon light or street light. Walking around in shorts and having blossoms fall like snow. I loved growing up in Kenwood. Posted by Jessi (guest) on Fri 02 Apr 2010 04:59:14 PM UTC

REMEMBER THEMThis is the real reason for Rolling Thunder - the ride on Washington. We must never forget that there are and will be more Americans left behind the lines of battle enduring, suffering, alone and seemingly forgotten, all for our love of war. That's a late seventies Honda Hawk. I bought one just like it new when I turned 16 in 1979. Posted by Tommy Keith (guest) on Fri 02 Apr 2010 02:18:47 PM UTC |
