Marian Anderson

Marian Anderson (February 27, 1897 – April 8, 1993) was an American contralto, perhaps best remembered for her performance on Easter Sunday, 1939 on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

OPEN THE GATE!

I saw this guy! I thought he might get shot by a snipper or and I might catch a stray bullet. There we were, angry abd packed wall to wall, like penguins trying to keep warm, and this crazy guy gets up and starts shaking the fence and screaming, "OPEN THE GATE!"

It's a good thing we're in America... :)

god loves that baby you want to kill. he or she has a right to live. abortion is not a good thing it is murder. if you get pregnant and you don't want the baby then you should give the baby up for adoption, not murdering the baby. god loves all his children, even if they are unborn, they are still a person.

The man being greeted is Norman Mineta of California, not Daniel Inouye of Hawaii.

That's not Daniel Inouye

The man being greeted in the photo is Norman Mineta, the former Secretary of Transportation.
