The Hope diamond is the world's largest deep blue diamond. AT 45.52 carats, it is classified as a type IIb diamond. The diamond's blue coloration is attributed to trace amounts of boron in the stone.

History behind the diamond

This beautiful blue diamond has a dark history behind it. It is said that whoever owned this diamond had to lose a lot in life. But the irony is that even though people are aware of the curse aligned to it, they get so mesmerized by it that they become ready to do anything to own it
