West Howard Antiques District

West Howard Antiques District is nestled in the industrial section of historic Kensington, Maryland. Devoid of grand hotels, eateries, or beautiful gardens, West Howard might seem like the last place collectors from more upscale parts of Washington would swarm to, but the District is home to a surprisingly rich assortment of quality antiques from around the world. Major movie production companies have utilized West Howard antiques in their films. As you enter these shops your will be filled with large assortment of vintage and contemparary treasures. Don't be suprised if you are greeted by one of the many friendly little dogs in the stores. West Howard dealers have a tradition of bringing their furry loved ones to work with them. If you are antique hunting or looking for unique home or office decorating ideas West Howard is the first place to start. Be prepared to stay the whole afternoon.

Directions: West Howard Antiques District is approximately two miles north of I-495 exit 33 on Connecticut Avenue. Turn left on Howard Avenue at the Exxon station, continue to the second block where the Antique Warehouse District begins.
