Councilman Phil Mendelson

Working with the District of Columbia since 1975, Phil Mendelson was elected as a Democrat to be an at-large member of the Council of the District of Columbia, and he has been reelected twice. He has served on the board of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and as the president of the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations.
