National Archives Building

The National Archives is a must-see for any treasure hunter (and any National Treasure fan). The Archives is home to the Charters of Freedom: the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights as well as photography, art, film and documents that record the history of the United States.

The neoclassical revival National Archives Building is located half-way between the White House and the Capitol on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. It occupies two full city blocks. The address is 700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20408.
