DC's Washington Nationals beat local rival Baltimore Orioles two games to one. It was the first "Battle of the Beltway" series since the Senators played the Orioles in 1971. Talk about big-time matchups. "Right now, this series, it's for bragging rights," Nationals Manager Frank Robinson said. The last time a Washington-based team won a season series against Baltimore was back in 1965, when the Senators took 10 out of 18 games. The Nats gained some respect and Alfonso Soriano became the fans favorite. "Everybody on the team likes him. He is a very versatile player. He gets on base, he steals bases, he can do whatever you want. I think he's very important for the future of our franchise," Ryan Zimmerman said. "He really cares about playing the game everyday."
