Crowd control

Regardless of whether you like him or dislike him, Mr. Obama is a very popular President. He tends to polarize people in that if you like him you really like him and if you dislike him you really dislike him. As an impartial quasi-journalist I have no opinion, but he seems to be doing pretty well in the AP polls, this being early October 2009.
