Took the Fall train Oct. 15th, 2006. Lots of things went wrong on the tour. 1st the train departed Charlston 2 hours late. When on the train the speaker did not work so could not hear a thing. Tour leader was not good at all and he made us fell rushed the whole trip. When got to Hinton, WV the town is not as great as was left to belive. Sandstone falls we were just droped off with no information on what we were seeing. Then to Pipestem Resort and we were not able to take the tram ride due to weathere so that was not Mountain State Mystery Trains falt. We went to dinner at the lodge not sit down, just a buffet was in and out in 30 min then had 1 hour to kill just walking around. When we got back to the train area in Hinton there was no train so we all had to get back in the bus and drive back to Charlston. We were told it was a 1 hour 15 min bus ride, but it was over 2 hours. Oh yea also on the bus from location to location there was no talking tour guide you just sat on the bus moving from location to location. This train ride was not worth $468.00 total that we spent for 2 of us. I will never go this again nor would I tell anyone to do this trip. It was bad really bad.....
