When I lived in Brookland, St. Anthony's was "home"

I moved out of Brookland 5 years ago upon completion of my M.Div. at Washington Theological Union, but the years I spent as a member of St. Anthony's Parish were amazing and a vital part of my faith formation. I found the parish to be warm and inviting from day one. In particular, I was attracted to the richness of the "gospel" mass, where those who sang truly prayed twice (to paraphrase St. Augustine). I was made to feel, not only at home, but a vital part of this wonderful community of believers. I only hope that it is as good now as it was then. A big "Hallelujah, Amen!" to Lynne and the choir!
