I read the review up there, and I can't help but agree. They do blame the parents at Luxmanor, and they have been doing so for at least ten years. I was also very disappointed in the education at Luxmanor, and it appears that the reputation of that school is a rumor designed to increase the value of the homes in the neighborhood. You have no idea how many parents at Luxmanor had very smart children who were not happy there, and the parents were blamed and had to move away or send their kids somewhere else. THere are some longtime employees of that school that should be gotten rid of. They have offended and blamed many parents.

We had heard that this was one of the better public schools in the Bethesda area. To date, we have been sorely disappointed. They appear to be inept at dealing with bright children who do not fall within the "norm", at least at the lower grade level. They also appear to be unwilling to seek advice from outside sources on dealing with such issues and instead tend to blame the parents instead of trying to work with them and the child. Their mission statement seems to be a smoke screen with no real truth.
