ABOUT THE SALON: This salon has undergone a major redecorating renovation and I can say: Wow! Much better!
I like the private, quiet Manicure/Pedicure area.

THE BEST MANICURE/PEDICURE: Elizabeth, the Manicurist, gave me ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MANICURE/PEDICURE I HAVE EVER HAD -in my entire life!!! Oh my gosh,YOU MUST ASK FOR HER!!!
It reminds me of the Medical Pedicures they do in France! I've had my nails done all over the world and she is a perfectionist! ***My polish lasted more than 1 week - with NO chips. Perfect nails, not to mention she is caring, funny & has such a happy outlook on life! -Refreshing!

HAIR: ALL The hair dressers are great!
You simply cannot get a bad haircut there.
I had my hair cut this time by: Daniel.
-My hair looked wonderful. I appreciated that when I requested only a "trim" (a tiny bit off), that's exactly what I got. The finish was excellent. Daniel got my hair sleek & straight which I like.

COLORIST: Excellent colorists.
Paul is wonderful at producing very natural highlights with a new technique learned in France, that I have never seen done here before. Besides that he is so sweet. What a wonderful personality!

DRIVING THERE: Free Parking in the back of the salon. -Is tight, but works. -Very busy on Saturday, (for good reason -this place is great).

GET THERE BY METRO: Directly across Friendship Heights Metro, and also there is free 2 hr parking in just about any garage you can find close to the salon -including across the street at the Giant Food parking lot (300 steps to the salon door.

CLEANLINESS: Very! The salon & the services are very clean! The brushes and capes are all washed and sanitized after every client and sealed in plastic by machine! (who else does that)? I value the cleanliness, and I give this salon five stars for service AND cleanliness! You will really like the people who service you!

CONS: Need more parking spots, would like a glass of wine after 5pm, Ceramic coffee mugs down stairs too -not styrafoam - and cookies to nibble on -(no biggie).

This place used to be so much better a couple years ago. I loved it! Now it is just too expensive and not so good! I would just go there for a haircut with a manager, which is pretty good. And I wish the customer service were better!

Scarey interior that looks like they haven't re-done it in 20 years, and a Mr. Coffee w/styrafoam cups kept me from trying this salon. I walked out before getting my service.
