Bright Beginnings is a child and family development center serving homeless families in Washington, DC. Founded in 1991 our mission is to (1) provide homeless children with a safe, nurturing, educational environment, (2) prepare our children to enter kindergarten ready to learn, and (3) support parents as they stabilize their home lives. Since its inception in 1991, Bright Beginnings has served more than 1300 homeless families.
