Aria Trattoria is a classy Italian trattoria-style restaurant located in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, on the plaza at 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Just a few blocks from the White House, this is a casual Italian restaurant featuring outdoor and indoor cafe seating. Their quality menu consists of savory antipasti, homemade pasta selections, panini sandwiches, hearth oven-baked pizzas for both lunch and dinner, and an exquisite selection of fine Italian wines.

Turned Over a New Leaf? 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Susan, Mon Aug 27 2007

My experience (and that of my 3 guests)of Aria was exceptional. The wait staff was attentive, the food was exquisite and the atmosphere was comfortable and not pretentious. I highly recommend this restaurant for people looking for quality food at an affordable price.

Total Disaster 1 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Bob, Mon Dec 18 2006

(Party of four) Service was absolutely horrible...there was one waiter for the entire dining area, entire meal took over two hours. My girlfriend had a hair in her dessert, we asked it be taken away and replaced, when replaced, the waiter was defensive, and laughed off our complaint. Manager was condescending and defensive when we asked it be taken off the bill, and told us "normally when a dessert is replaced we expect you to pay for it" HELLO! There was a hair in our dessert!!!
People who bus the tables pretty much threw our food at us and yelled out fish, meat, pasta and tossed them on the table, very unprofessional. For the ambience and price, definately a disappointment.
