Black Cat Blues Band

http://www.blackcatbluesband.com

The Black Cat Blues Band is a four-piece blues band working out of Northern Virginia. Deriving influences from Mississippi Delta artists through to the present day, the Black Cat Blues Band offers an eclectic repertoire that reflects the band's traditional lineup - guitar, harmonica, bass, and drums. This band was born out of a shared passion for the blues - in fact they have all been influenced by the great blues artists, but had never considered putting together a band to play just blues. In late 2001, this oversight was rectified and the Black Cat Blues Band was born!

Black Cats rule ! 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Deb Sterling, Sat Dec 02 2006

After listening to Black Cats in concert at a local venue, it was as though we'd visited Beale St. in Memphis and had had quite a dose of some of the finest Blues music you'll ever hear. Garret Fitzgerald will amaze you with his "sound alike" Clapton style and the addition of bass guitar, keyboard, electric harmonica and drums, makes this band one of the best you'll ever go out to hear. Great dance music, some fast and some slow but they'll make you shake your money maker in short order. Great music and fun personalities.
