The Deacons

http://www.4deacons.org

More than just blues musicians, The Deacons have been entertaining Washington audiences since 1997 with their unique assortment of R&B, Swing, and Rock & Roll, to name a few. Hear sound clips from their latest CD, "Maiden America." You'll agree, these 4 veteran musicians are well versed in many music styles.

Pure Talent 5 out of 5 stars

This is the best group you'll find in DC. John Oconnor is a New Orleans blues singer who also plays frettless base. The electric viola player is a virtuoso, and the drummer plays in the bigtime. Maiden America is a clasic.
