Alive or Lifeless or A.L.I is the collective that makes up the DC areas premier rap stable. Included in the collective are Frank NIDI, Max Paine, CeneStarr, Phoenix, Pariah, Chase & BC. Collectively, they produce, engineer, and distribute their own music, allowing for total control of their image and sound. As of June 1, 2006, the group is preparing to drop their debut, ambitious release compilation album A.L.I RISE which features 18 tracks from the entire A.L.I Team. Hitting the ground running, the group plans to establish a documentation so to speak for the ready to blow local DC, Maryland music scene.
