In memory of our honored dead on Memorial Day.

The National D-Day Memorial Foundation is a group of veterans and volunteers organized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and warranted by the U.S. Congress to build and maintain a memorial to Allied Forces who invaded the Normandy coast of France on June 6, 1944.

Since its debut in 1990, public television's National Memorial Day Concert has touched the hearts and minds of millions of Americans seeking to honor those who served the nation in time of war.

The parade will commence at 10:30 in the morning, lining up on the Mall, making a left onto Constitution Avenue at the foot of the Capitol and traveling towards the White House. Mayor Anthony Williams is the Grand Marshall.
