Bike the Blossoms

Bike the Sites is pleased to be participating in the 2005 National Cherry Blossom Festival with our Blossoms by Bike tour. Celebrate the arrival of spring with this two-hour ride specifically designed for the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The trip takes cyclists past the Potomac Park blossoms, and highlights the Jefferson Memorial, Haines Point, Japanese lantern, and more. Blossoms by Bike will leave daily during the festival (March 26th – April 10th) at 3 pm, with additional weekend tours on Saturdays at 9 am, 11 am, and 1 pm and on Sundays at 9 am from The Old Post Office Pavilion. Tour dates may be extended if conditions are favorable. The cost is $30 for adults and $20 for children (12 and under). Reservations can be made online at www.bikethesites.com or by calling (202) 842-BIKE [2453]. A special mid-week bike rental rate is also available during the festival. Ride by the blossoms on your lunch hour for $10 per hour (discounted price available Tuesday through Thursday only).
