Gracing the top of the National Tree is a three-dimensional, luminous white, four-diamond star tree topper. The star's golden hologram-like material and gold pinstriping that outlines the points of the star sparkle with vibrancy for the enjoyment of daytime visitors, in addition to providing lighted nighttime brilliance.
The body of the tree is lighted with thousands of traditional green miniature holiday lights to add movement and excitement. Metallic, gold ribbons cascade down wht tree. Sprinkled randomly around the tree are large ball-shaped gold ornaments.
Also adorning the tree are star ornaments that complement the tree topper. The stars on the body of the tree are red with gold reflective material for daytime shimmer. During the evening, red and clear lights illuminate the star ornaments for nighttime pizzazz.
