The National Maritime Heritage Foundation is the first and only community sailing program in the District of Columbia, offering sailing lessons, rentals, Schooner charters and cruises for youth and adults on the Southwest Waterfront. Profits from all the programs go towards offering underprivileged inner city youth the opportunity to learn to sail. Lessons and rentals are provided from the beginner to the advanced level on Flying Scots, FJs, Lasers and Bugs.

Ultimate Watersports provides a wide variety of watersport programs including lessons and rentals of windersurfers, kayaks, and hobie catamarans, watersport camps for kids, kayak eco-tours as well as sunset and moonlight kayak tours, adult programs through local universities and corporate team building programs at our two beautiful waterfront locations on the Chesapeake.
