From your neighborhood pizzeria serving you since 1984. Other pizzerias on Capital Hill copied our menu and tried to imitate Al's Gourmet Pizza. Our menu can be copied, but Al's quality cannot be duplicated. The originators of Al's Chicken Kabob Pizza, Triple Cheese Steak Pizza, and a wide variety of Gourmet Pizzas.

Ella’s is a fun and friendly downtown restaurant serving wood fired pizza. Located in the heart of the chic Penn Quarter neighborhood within an easy walk of the National Mall, MCI Center, DC Convention Center, the Ford’s, Shakespeare, and National Theatres, and several cinemas. Ella’s features traditional, Neapolitan-style, thin crust pizza baked in a blistering-hot, wood-fired pizza ovens. The result is a lightly crisp, nicely chewy crust with a hint of smoke which allows the full flavor of the quality toppings to emerge!

In keeping with their vision, Faccia Luna restaurants are indeed urban trattorias specializing in wood-oven pizza (except in Arlington), homemade pasta, salads, sandwiches, and appetizers. Faccia Luna also boasts a very solid Italian estate-bottled wine list and a wide variety of American microbrews.

Sicilian-style pizza is what Geppetto Cafe does best. It's what has kept patrons coming back since 1977. The thick, square-cut pies come with a full variety of toppings, from pepperoni, mushrooms and prosciutto to artichokes, broccoli and roasted peppers. You can build your own or select from one of the combinations: classic, vegetarian, meat-lovers or gourmet. Geppetto also serves Neapolitan (thin-crust) pizza, as well as sandwiches, burgers and traditional Italian entrees like spaghetti with meatballs, veal scaloppini and chicken Parmesan.
