Camp Puhtok
There hadn't been time for much American history when the King of England bestowed upon Lord Calvert a charter for the State of Maryland in 1632, including a grant that came to be known as My Lady's Manor. Today, "The Manor", a beautiful tract of green, rolling foothills in northern Baltimore County is home to thoroughbred horse farms, a grand fox hunting tradition, and Camp Puh'tok. It is also home to white-tail deer, turkey, pheasant, and the wily coyote. Along the river valleys are found beaver, mink and otter. The moderate climate and gently rolling terrain, interspersed with forest, meadow and stream, forms an excellent habitat for many songbirds, game birds and small mammals of many types. The Gunpowder River teems with brown trout, and waterfowl fill the air overhead as the migrate along the eastern flyway. Camp Puh'tok and environs are rich with possibilities for wildlife observation and study.

Camp Tall Timbers
At Camp Tall Timbers there is a conscious effort to reach out to each camper. In order for each child to have "an ideal summer," a caring environment must be established. A caring environment enables a child to reach out, grow beyond their perceived potential, and thereby increase their confidence. Camp Tall Timbers is a place where children and young adults learn the value of friendship and good times, but never at the expense of another person. Camp Tall Timbers is exactly what a summer camp for children should be.
