- Baltimore Ski Club celebrated it's 60th Birthday on January 5th 1999 Baltimore Ski Club (a member club of the Blue Ridge Ski Council) began in 1939, when only the hardiest enthusiasts tackled the slopes. Much has changed since then, but not the goals of the club. We're people who've banded together out of a common interest to share skiing experiences; improve our abilities and knowledge; and save money on trips. The club sponsors ski-related and other activities throughout the year to help you keep your muscles toned and to keep the group spirit fresh. Singles, Single Parents, Families & Couples. Baltimore Ski Club members range from teens to retirees and come from all walks of life.

A name like ours requires a short explanation: although our club was founded in 1966 at the Office of the Secretary of Defense in the Pentagon (as the OSD Ski Club), today the club is open to all of you, not just the military, and it is not funded by your tax money - anyone can join! The Pentagon Ski Club has approximately 400-500 members.
