- Hill Street Skate Park
- Opened on May 15 and is a 17,000 sq. foot all concrete skate park. It is a safe place for kids to come and meet other skateboarders. It has a great shaped clover shaped bowl to skate on says one 16 year old skate boarder.

- Vans Skatepark Potomac
- This park opened in April 2000 and ,which was the world's biggest indoor skatepark. It has 61,640 sq feet of ground to cover. It looks like a giant warehouse with all different things for skaters to do. There is different bowls for different levels of skaters as well as various ramps with all different sizes. There is a huge 12 foot tall, 40foot wide vert ramp as well as others. Many competitive skaters as well as beginners come here to practice and learn.

- Wakefield Skate Park
- This park was originally created when a local skateboarders in Fairfax County decided to ask the County District's Supervisor, Sharon Bulova, if a skateboard park could be built. They made a presentation and the "county people liked it" said one of the skate boarders. The Wakefield Park is a 21,500 sq. foot course, which happens to be one of the largest in the area. There is two varities in the park: the street course and the freestyle course. There is constant supervision provided by "skateguards" in the park at all times.
