- Two place (Tandem) flight makes it safe and easy for the newcomer to get into the air within minutes of arriving for the first lesson. After your first lesson, should you choose to continue training, Highland Aerosports has packages available providing all you need to get you to your novice (solo) rating and beyond. Office hours are 9 to 5 Thursday through Monday. We are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Solo flights are done on a walk in basis during regular office hours. Reservations are required for all lessons
