Modern

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HipHouseScenario/

Located in the heart of Georgetown, MODERN is furnished in plush 1960s retro decor with an unmistakably contemporary edge. MODERN is the most distinctly hip lounge to hit DC in years. General Information: Modern is open Tuesday thru Sunday. Doors open at 9pm. You must be 21 or over to enter. We have a dress code...although nothing is set in stone. You just need to have style and the attitude to work it. Generally though, no t-shirts, flannel shirts, baseball caps, shorts or athletic wear. Jeans are permissible...if they are dressed up or part of the "look."

Vida : Twilight

http://www.vidadc.com

3 years ago, Jeff Holibaugh moved to Venezuela to discover the beauty of South America. After traveling the entire continent, he has now returned, teamed up with Peter Balish and built Vida Restaurant, Tequila Bar and Lounge. It is the embodiment of all that is beautiful in South and Latin America. It's 3,000 square feet of (ground floor) patio, and it's covered, so you won't ever show up and find that the party's been canceled. The drink specials, offered until 8, include $10 buckets of Corona and $4 margaritas. We have dancing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
