The infamous Bar Nun is a part of the 14th and U Street cluster of bars. Pitted against the larger Republic Gardens and State of the Union, this two- story converted row house offers a cozy middle ground between those two extremes.

Club East Coast is an nightclub located in the DC Metropolitan area. We've been in business since 1990. It's a fun, neighborhood place to eat, drink, hang out play a few games of pool and laugh with friends. Enjoy your favorite sport game on one of our eight TV's. We also have a satellite dish and a projection screen TV. East Coast Cafe has 2 bars, a full service kitchen, a newly expanded hardwood dance floor. We have plenty of seating inside and finding a parking space is not a problem. Friday and Saturday nights are band night, come support your local band!

Ellington's on Eighth is located in the Capitol Hill/Eastern Market Districts of Washington, DC and features fine dining, live jazz and poetry. Hours Wednesday and Thursday 6p Friday and Saturday 5p and Sunday Jazz Brunch 11:30a

Thursday night featuers live music in the Martini Bar. Every Friday, and Saturday we will be featuring the hottest local DJs spining the latest dance music. These DJs are rising stars on the local club circuit playing some of the hottest music around. Thursday night cover is only $8. Friday & Saturday night cover is only $10.

Hand carved mahogany, mirrors and brass set the first floor while a large lounge area with dance floor and bar define the upper floor. "The Dog" is a great place to relax after work, after a game or view sporting events on one of eleven TVs featuring two big screens. Our most popular times are the $2 beer and $5 burger nights, weekends with DJs in the lounge, and occasional local band shows.
