Over the past seven years the administration, faculty, parents and alumni have worked together to build a new Archbishop Carroll High School, which has as its foundation the history and traditions of all six schools merged.

Well, it was my high school. Cathedral Latin was a college prep school operated for some ten yearsby the Archdiocese of Washington. As a day-school seminary, its job was to train young men for thepriesthood. Not many of us made it that far, though, and so after my class graduated in 1971, theArchdiocese decided they couldn't do any better than that and turned off the lights.
