The Experiences in Architecture (EiA) program at The Catholic University of America is an intense three-week workshop for students interested in architecture or other design related fields. Students are exposed to both the academic and the professional sides of the architecture arena, as the city of Washington, D.C. becomes their classroom.

Candidates from all backgrounds who are committed to a museum career and have completed at least an undergraduate degree by September 2000 are encouraged to apply. Interns in the program participate in the ongoing work of the department to which they are assigned, will complete a project or a discrete portion of a larger project, and will attend weekly orientation sessions designed to introduce Gallery departments, programs, and functions. Each intern's project is directed by a Gallery curator or department head.

Pyramid Atlantic Art Center is a contemporary visual arts center dedicated to the creation, exhibition, and appreciation of paper, prints, and book arts.

Interns are selected by each of the museum's twelve departments: Administration, Collections Management (Registrar), Conservation and Scientific Research, Curatorial, Design and Installation, Development, Education (including public programs), Library and Archives, Publications, Photography, Public Affairs, and Shops.

The Washington Studio School, founded in 1986, is a community of serious artists and art students dedicated to the practice of visual art, building on historical traditions as they relate to contemporary ideas.
