The American Samoa Society was established in June, 1976. It is one of the 55 members comprising the National Conference of State Societies(NCSS). The NCSS includes 50 States in the Union and 5 U.S. Territories, including theCapital City of Washington, DC. The NCSS is the main sponsor of the Princesses Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC., every year. Each year,the American Samoa Society sponsors a Princess who represents the Territory of American Samoa in the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Our membership is open to all Samoans, Americans and anyone who has visited, worked or has an interest in meeting the Samoans and learning about their rich culture and tradition. We have a membership of over 200 people. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES:Family: $20.00 Single persons,students over 17 years old and senior citizens $10.00.
