May 18th & 19th, 2002. The fifth annual Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival features two beautiful days of blues music on the bay. This outdoor festival will host top blues artists including: Jerry Lee Lewis & the Killer Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Double Trouble and friends featuring: Jimmy Thackery and Tab Benoit, Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers, Magic Slim & The Teardrops, Shemekia Copeland and many more... There will be a wide variety of food vendors and crafters. All proceeds benefit charity, with Special Olympics of Maryland being the largest recipient.
