Celebrate the holiday season as Baltimore welcomes Santa & Mrs. Claus along with everyone's favorite Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat as this year's grand marshal. For the 54th year in Baltimore, Santa Claus receives his official holiday welcome as floats and bands fill the streets of downtown, steps off at Eutaw and Pratt streets, travels along Pratt Street, and disbands at Market Place and Pratt Street.

This year, there will be over sixty events and activities that are designed to let you experience what our community was like during the American Revolution between 1779 and 1781. You will step back in history and mingle with famous statesmen, soldiers, craftsmen, clergymen, and citizens who gather for a Day of Public Thanksgiving that was proclaimed by Virginia's Governor Thomas Jefferson.

This gala event will take place on Thursday 22 November - Thanksgiving Day.
