Celebrate the 32nd Year of the premier wildlife art event in the country, attracting 19,000 visitors and 400 of the nation’s finest wildlife artists and craftsmen. During the Festival, historic and contemporary buildings serve as venues for exhibits. Food, music, demonstrations and kids activities are found on the colonial streets and around the beautiful gardens and ponds of Easton.

The 20th Annual Alexandria Red Cross Waterfront Festival, 'Where the Fun Lives On' will be held on June 9,10, and 11, 2000, at Oronoco Bay Park in Old Town Alexandria. Family fun for all, including tall ships, rides, arts and crafts, fireworks, and more!

June 13 – 15, 2003, it was a weekend of great family entertainment with visiting tall ships, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, health and safety exhibits, delectable treats, petting zoo, children’s craft tent, nautical exhibits, fireworks over the bay, canoe rides, amusement rides, and let’s not forget — jolly pirates and a children’s treasure hunt!

The Prince George's Community College, Prince George's Society of Health Professionals, Maryland Black Mayors, and Suitland Family and Life Development Corporation are hosting the second annual HEALTHFEST: The Promotion of Wellness_. HEALTHFESTÔ is a community-based initiative to increase access to health care and reduce health disparities in Prince George's County. This annual event has been designated as a national model for community organizations to reach the U.S. Surgeon General's vision for 100% health access and zero health disparities in America by 2010. HEALTHFESTÔ is more that a 1-day fun-filled festival; it is a national campaign that connects Federal, State, County and local governments with the community. The health disparities are: cancer screening and management, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, HIV Infection/AIDS, infant mortality, and immunization. Held July 15, 2000, 8am-4pm, at Prince George'e Community College in Largo, Maryland.

The 2001 International Children's Festival, celebrating its 30th anniversary, is a six-day event with international student performers, special guests, hands-on workshops and other exciting activities for all ages. The International Children's Festival is produced by the Arts Council of Fairfax County, a private non-profit corporation, in cooperation with the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and the National Park Service.
