Luke. Katie Dell Kaufman artwork crosses many genres. In some pieces she draws on canvas or paper and then builds assemblies made of wood and other found objects.The drawings or paintings are then incorporated into these assemblies, and the final product is a three dimensional piece of art work which is neither sculpture nor graphics, but both. Represented by the Fraser Gallery.

This newsletter gives DC artists a chance to promote themselves as what they are; artists. One section of Community Arts has advertisements posted or upcoming artistic events. The newsletter has another section on showcasing at least three artists an issue.

Opened in 2006, International Arts & Artists' onsite gallery, Hillyar Art Space is dedicated to promoting cross cultural understanding through the arts. To that end we present a dual series of exhibitions, one local and one international - side-by-side in the two rooms of our Dupont Circle gallery. There is always an excellent selection of local and international contemporary art on display, adding a touch of sophistication to any event. The layout of the space, a large main room and a smaller front room, allows for flexibility of use. There is 1,100 sq. feet of useable space including a restroom and a small kitchenette with refrigerator and freezer. The gallery holds 150 people standing and 50 seated.
